About the Sleep Quality Assessment

This assessment measures five dimensions of sleep health — latency, depth, circadian alignment, restoration quality, and daytime function — and maps them against your body constitution type (Prakriti) to identify the specific pattern driving your sleep disruption. Unlike generic sleep hygiene advice, this assessment recognises that different constitutional types require fundamentally different interventions. A Vata-dominant nervous system responds to grounding and warmth; a Pitta-dominant system needs cooling and earlier wind-down; a Kapha-dominant system needs stimulation and early rising. The same practice that helps one person sleep better actively disrupts another.

Why generic sleep advice doesn't work for everyone

The sleep hygiene guidelines you've read everywhere — consistent schedule, no screens, cool room — are evidence-based population-level interventions. They work for the average. But your sleep problem may not be average. If you've tried every sleep hack and still wake at 3am, or still feel exhausted despite 8 hours, the issue is likely constitutional: your body's inherent regulatory pattern requires a different approach than the standard protocol. This assessment identifies which approach fits your nature.

The five dimensions of sleep health

Sleep quality is not a single variable. Sleep latency measures how quickly you fall asleep. Sleep depth measures the restorative architecture of your sleep — the ratio of light, deep, and REM sleep. Circadian alignment measures whether your internal biological clock is synchronised with your actual sleep schedule. Restoration quality measures whether the biochemical work of sleep is completing — whether you wake recovered. Daytime function measures the downstream impact on your cognitive performance, mood, and energy.
